January 9, 2009 12:17 PM — The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that Tage Evanson will be stepping into the role of Regional Director for Arizona. Evanson is taking over from the team of Marty Saltzman and Jason Boles, who were instrumental in reviving the Arizona Region and building it into a thriving program. Both Saltzman and Boles will remain in positions as officials in Arizona and will also continue participating as racers and officials in other regions as well. Evanson has an extensive background in both autocross and Time Trial and has been part of the Arizona leadership team for many years, so the transition will be an easy one with great possibilities going forward. "I'm very pleased to see Tage carrying on the great work that Jason and Marty have been doing for the past few years", said John Lindsey, NASA's Chief Divisional Director. Evanson added that "I am very excited to take over NASA Arizona Region.  Jason and Marty will be a tough act to follow, but I have every intention of continuing to make this region a success!"
