Racetech North America Offers Year End Awards to NASA Racers

April 28, 2009 3:19 PMRacetech The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that Racetech North America will offer over $60,000 in available contingency awards during the 2009 NASA season in the form of “Racetech Bucks” along with a program for the NASA Championships.

“We wanted to come up with a way to show our support for NASA competitors, said Alex Whitelaw, Marketing Manager for Racetech North America. “We thought this program would be a good step forward in building a stronger relationship with the NASA membership and hope we can expand upon it for next season. Together with the program we have planned for the NASA Championships in September at Miller Motorsports Park, we hope NASA competitors see this as one of the many benefits to owning a Racetech seat and decide to take full advantage of this program and the awards we are offering in it.”

The regional award program will apply to the Spec Miata, Showroom Spec Miata, CMC, CMC2, SpecE30, and American Iron classes in every NASA region. Racetech is offering awards for 1st, 5th, and 10th place positions in the year end regional championship standings. 1st place will receive $500, 5th will receive $300, and 10th will receive $200. All awards will be issued in “Racetech Bucks” that will be good toward the purchase of any Racetech product. To qualify for the award, you must be using a Racetech seat in your vehicle along with running a Racetech decal on each side of your vehicle which can be ordered directly from Racetech. If you would like to purchase a Racetech seat to take part in this program, you should do so by contacting Racetech directly to order your seat through them. The only other requirement for this program is that there must be a minimum of five starters in your class in at least eight of the races in the 2009 championship season. To collect your award at the end of the season, you’ll need to simply contact Racetech directly and provide them with a copy of the official results for the regional championship along with photo of your vehicle from the season showing the decals in place and the seat in use.

Racetech North America will also be providing a contingency program for the NASA Championship event, so please keep checking the nasachampionships.com website for further information when it becomes available.
