HPD Honda Challenge National Championship Race to Air on Television

June 7, 2010 9:00 AMHPD_Logo.jpgRichmond, CA - The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that the 2010 HPD Honda Challenge National Championship race from Miller Motorsports Park that will take place this September will be broadcast on a national cable television network.

The television coverage of the HPD Honda Challenge Series National Championship race is sponsored by Honda Performance Development’s (HPD), the new title sponsor of NASA’s Honda Challenge Series. The television package is yet another benefit of HPD's sponsorship of the series and will add further excitement and exposure to the country's premier Honda/Acura-only road racing series. Specific information regarding broadcast dates and channels will be announced at a later time.

About Honda Performance Development (HPD)

Honda Performance Development (HPD) became the title sponsor of NASA’s Honda Challenge series beginning in 2010. HPD is Honda’s racing company within North America. Founded in 1993, and located in Santa Clarita, Calif., HPD is the technical operations center for American Honda’s high-performance racing cars and engines.  In addition to its grassroots motorsports business, HPD is the single engine supplier to the IZOD IndyCar Series and participates in both the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) and the European-based LeMans Series (LMS) with their engine and chassis lease program.
