Group H Qualifying Race 2, 5:00 p.m. (25 minute race)

Scott Bove picked up the pace (after finishing second in the first qualifying race) and set the fast lap during the second qualifying race (2:19.521) and won, securing a pole position for the GTS1 championship race. Scott’s Porsche 944 was sponsored by Autobahn Premier Service. Team B&W Racing came in second place. Bennett McMicking finished third.
GTS2
Vali Predescu, sponsored by Euromastercars, seems unstoppable in GTS2 winning both qualifying races and setting the fastest lap by three full seconds. Fighting for the next available podium position was Robert Maples who finished second in both races. Brad Waite, sponsored by Steinel’s Autowerks, grabbed the third finishing position during the GTS2 second qualifying race.
GTS3
Jay Matus, in his Porsche 996 sponsored by Viking Extreme Motorsports, stayed way ahead of the competition (three seconds a lap) and won the second qualifying race in GTS3 (he also won the first race). In second place was Dan Goodman in his BMW M3 sponsored by BimmerHaus and Hoosier Tires. The third place finisher was Gregory Dalgarn in his BMW M3 sponsored by Ultimate Auto Works. This finishing order was a mirror of qualifying race 1 and this will set up the grid for the championship race.
GTS4
Jeff Amos won the second qualifying race in GTS4 (he also won the first qualifying race on Thursday). Amos will start on the pole for the national championship race in his T-Mobile, Hoosier Tire, Hawk Brakes, and Forgeline sponsored Porsche GT3. Finishing in the second spot was Rick Barrett sponsored by BarrettHeritage.com. The third and final spot went to the lady in the class, Aledandra Sabados, in her old school 1974 Porsche 911 RSR sponsored by Frenetic Racing.
GTS5
Robert Prilika set down the fastest lap with a 2:00.437 and won the second qualifying race in GTS5. Robert was sponsored by Powers Electric and Cor/Shield. In second place was Chad Nelson sponsored by Ravenswave Recordings and third place went to David Leyvas sponsored by Diversified in his Porsche 997.
