Toyo Tires® Offers VIP Treatment for Racers Competing in the 25-Hours of Thunderhill™

CYPRESS, CALIFORNIA (October 31, 2012) - Toyo Tires® will offer VIP treatment this year for competitors racing in the 25-Hours of Thunderhill™ exclusively on Toyo® Proxes® RR DOT competition tires or the full-slick Proxes® RS1™. Giving loyal Toyo Tires racers the competitive advantage, registered participants will receive free mounting and balancing services from AIM Tire on all preorders and via trackside service from December 5th-9th at Thunderhill Raceway.
In order to make this endurance classic even more enjoyable, all qualified participants and their qualifying support team members will have access to free meals at the Toyo Tires hospitality area on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the race event. Thursday's practice day will be supported with snacks, lunch and beverages. On Friday, guests can dine on snacks, lunch, dinner and beverages. Saturday's race day will have all meals available from breakfast to dinner while Sunday morning guests will receive breakfast.
Toyo Tires is also pleased to announce a contingency program for racers competing on Toyo tires in the 25-Hours of Thunderhill.
"The 25-Hours of Thunderhill is the longest endurance road race in North America, and we appreciate the effort it takes to compete in this event," said Marc Sanzenbacher, senior manager, Competition Performance Products Division, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. "This is the best way that we at Toyo Tires can give back to the dedicated NASA racers who compete on Toyo competition products."
Registration for this special program is limited. All competitors must be registered for the program and pre-order their tires through AIM Tire by November 26th, 2012. All tires must be purchased through AIM Tire. Tires obtained elsewhere will not qualify for this program and benefits will be denied. In the event of wet conditions, Toyo Proxes® RA1™, Proxes® R1R™ or Proxes® R888™ products can be substituted.
