Registration Options / Descriptions:
BANQUET: If you plan to attend the Sat evening BBQ, please register for this so we will have an accurate food/beer count. There is $0 cost to register yourself. If you plan on bringing crew/guests please register appropriately to help us cover costs.
Competition School Any driver with a minimum of HPDE4 level experience may participate in this school in a street car or race car. The school will cover 2 full days with 5 on track exercises and relevant classroom materials and discussion. A test on the CCRs will also be administered at the end of the course. Students who display on-track competency during drills and pass the written exam with a score of at least 80% are eligible for a Provisional Competition License and may begin racing at the following event. One pre-req for this class is to read through the entire CCRs *prior* to attending the classroom so that the classroom time may be maximized discussing items/topics that are NOT already documented.
[U]NOTE[/U]: The schedule will be adjusted to allow for Time Trial competitors to also be able to compete in at least one TT session each day to maintain points. TT competitors seeking this option should also register for "SupersizeTT" below.
HPDE1 (Beginner) - Classroom + 1x1 instructor passing only on main straights
HPDE2 (Novice) - Similar/same to HPDE1 but no instructor required
HPDE3 (Intermediate) - Limited passing as defined by the Group Leader.
HPDE4 (Advanced) - Open passing with courtesy
Time Attack (Sunday Only) @ $20 - This will provide competitors with a transponder rental and a near open track for 2 hot laps. Only the fastest lap counts. NOTE: Must be combined with HPDE3, HPDE4, TT or Race Group.
Time Attack (Sunday Only) @ $15 - Same as above but this is for entrants who already have a transponder and do not need one.
Time Trial - Drivers compete for fastest lap time. Split "Big Bore" and "Small Bore" groups.
NOTE: This group requires a NASA Time Trial or Competition license to compete in.
RACE: (*Wheel to wheel* racing) Requires a NASA Competition Racing License and current NASA medical examination. NOTE: Guaranteed 'Big Bore' and 'Small Bore' split groups regardless of the number of entrants.
SupersizeTT - For Race Group drivers looking for an additional competition outlet and/or additional practice/track time can register for this and nearly double their seat time for a fraction of the cost of an a-la-cart NASA TT entry. TT drivers looking for additional seat time may register for HPDE4 at regular price and then also select this option to run TT as well at the discounted rate.
Transponder Rental - Only available for Time Trial and Race Group. HPDE groups do not get timed! There are no refunds if you rent a transponder in HPDE.
VENDOR - No cost to register, we simply have this option so we can preplan out the paddock and take care of any needed logistics ahead of time. We can also help communicate your services at the event in our email blasts to our members if you take the time to pre-register. Thx!
Tech InspectionThis is NOT for HPDE! This option is only for those looking for an annual Race Tech inspection on Friday at the track.
