Getting your first NASA Competition License

Send the following by fax:

 

1) A copy of your state's driver's license.

 

2) Credential(s)

A copy of a school certificate (e.g. Mid Ohio School, Barber, Russell, etc.) and / or a copy of any current or past licenses (e.g. FIA, SCCA, IMSA, etc.)

 

3) A copy of a current medical.

Medical Form notes:

a) A NASA medical form is found here:  http://www.nasaproracing.com/images/rules-forms/form_medical.pdf

b) NASA will accept medicals from other organizations, such as: SCCA, BMW Club, PCA, POC, IMSA, etc.

c) The medical must be:

i) Less than five years old if under 40 years of age

ii) Less than three years old if between 40 and 50 years of age

iii) Less than two years old if between 50 and 60 years of age

iv) Less than a year old if over 60

4) A cover sheet with:

a) A credit card number (Visa or MasterCard only), credit card expiration date, and the CVV2 code from the back.

b) Intended first race (e.g. 10/13-14/07 Laguna Seca) [Note- this is not a commitment, just an intention so the office can prioritize.]

 

 

Fax the information to NASA HQ at 510-277-0657. 

Notes: Turn around time may vary but is usually about one week.   All licenses are SEASONAL and expire on December 31st on the year of issuance.
