  NABR SPECE30 CLASS ANNOUNCED
The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) in conjunction with North American Bavarian Racing (NABR) is pleased to announce the launch of the SpecE30 Series. This represents the collaboration and affiliation of two groups, NABR and SpecE30, who were developing similar preparation rules into a national program with a single set of preparation rules. The series is based upon BMW 3 series cars (318i, 325, 325e, 325i, 325is and 318is) produced from 1984 to 1991. Cars are separated into two classes based upon the performance potential of the varying models.

Unlike the existing NASA/NABR North American Bimmer Series which downplays competition in favor of the fun and comraderie aspect of marque racing in a Vintage environment, the SpecE30 series provides the BMW enthusiast with the opportunity to participate in a very competitive environment where driver skill is the primary differentiator and car preparation is equal and affordable. The series offers a points system and will have regional championships.

The rules offer flexibility in how the series is managed from region to region. This series has already attracted a great deal of attention and excitement with cars already prepared or in process throughout the country. The NASA Virginia Region (www.NASARacing.net) has already established a championship series for this year.

Please visit NABR for more information and race schedules or call NASA at 510-232-NASA.
