Q: Is open paddock parking free?

Camping / RV Hookups
Q: If I or my crew stays at the track, what are the fees?
A: Any team that is staying overnight at the track must purchase a $99 camping pass. The pass is good for the entire week (Mon-Sun). This fee covers security, extra trash pickup, bathrooms and the shower facilities. We refer to this as “dry camping”.
Q: “Dry” camping is a bit too primitive for me - Can we rent an electrical RV outlet? What is the cost?
A: Yes. You just reserve an RV electrical space. The cost of one space for the week is $179 and INCLUDES the facility camping fee. So basically, the cost for electricity works out to only $70 for the entire week.
Q: How big are the RV electrical parking spaces?
A: Each space is 15ft x 90ft. This should be plenty of room for large toter-homes and still provide the ability to work out of the back. There is a mixture of 30A and 50A hookups. If you need a 50A outlet, reserve early as there are a very limited number available.
Q: My truck, trailer, racecar, awning and mother-in-law quarters won’t fit in one of the 15x90 RV hookup spaces and I really need the electrical hookup. What can I do?
A: One option is that you may purchase as many spaces as you think you’ll need to hold
everything. You may also use the free open parking space separate from the RV hookup location.
Q: Where can I dump/fill my RV?
A: There is a dump station on site. We are arranging for portable dump and water fill service -
check with driver info at the track for availability.
Garages
Q: What garage options are available?
A: There are “day” garages and luxury Gran-Prix garages. You may use the garage starting
Monday Sept 7th, 2009.
Q: How big are the “day” garages? What is included?
A: The “day” garages are 20ft x 25ft and will easily fit one car, all of your tools, spare tires and a handful of folding chairs. There are 20 garage bays per building. Shared electricity and air are available for your use. The cost for the week (Monday - Sunday) is $449 for one space.
Q: Can I fit more than one car into a “day” garage?
A: Maybe. Some teams have found a way to do this and there is no extra cost involved.
Q: How big are the “Gran-Prix” Luxury garages? What is included?
A: The GP garages vary slightly in shape but will fit two cars plus equipment and still have room left for a buffet table! There are 24 total GP spots and they are located under the VIP suites on the front straight. Electricity, Air and TV (live T&S feeds, speed-channel, cartoons, soaps, etc) are available for your use. Semi-private bathrooms are provided. The cost for the entire week (Monday - Sunday) is $899.
Q: I have a large semi truck with multiple cars. Which garage do you recommend?
A: It will be easiest for us to accommodate you by selecting a GP garage. You may choose the
day garages, but you may be required to park your transporter in another section of the paddock.
Q: If I purchase a day garage, where do I park my support vehicle?
A: Parking space just across from your garage space is reserved for your use. The spot
associated with each garage is approximately 20ft wide x 40ft deep.
Final Questions
Q: I’d really like to live it up. I want a garage AND an RV hookup. Can I do this?
A: Absolutely! Nationals is only once a year and you will be there from 5-7 days. Be comfortable. We will work to insure you are camped as close to your garage as possible.
