HPDE/ Sprint Races / TT
FRI: Test/Tune , Advanced HPDE 3/4 and 1st Competition License School. There will also be an Instructor Clinic
SAT/SUN: All HPDE groups and Instructors, TT and Sprint racers, REMEMBER to renew your LICENSE for 2017.
Race Car Annual Inspections MUST be completed before the first race. Inspections will be available on Fri and Sat, there will be a fee of $50 at the track.
Competition School is open for registration at $695 which includes registration for Saturday and Sunday races. Drivers MUST be advanced HPDE and cars MUST be fully race prepared according to current CCR. Questions can be directed to email@example.com School consists of classroom sessions, on-track exercises and practice race. Detailed info will be emailed upon registration.
Instructor Clinic is open to advanced drivers who have an interest in becoming NASA HPDE instructors. The day consists of mentoring, classroom discussion and on-track exercises.
HPDE: If you are new to HPDE please register for HPDE1, you will be automatically assigned an Instructor. If you have solo experience, you can register for HPDE2 or HPDE3 depending on experience and number of days completed. If you are an advanced driver HPDE4 and new to NASA, please include track history in your profile including other organizations, number of days and tracks visited.
FREE CAMPING available for the weekend starting 6pm Thursday night. On Saturday May 6 there will be a Food Truck Festival at the Thunderbolt Paddock which will include a variety of food trucks, musical entertainment and carnival games. It will be from 11am to 6pm.
Detailed info concerning this event will be emailed about 7-10 days before the event. Schedules will be posted on NE website as soon as they are finalized, usually 5-7 days before the event.
