Welcome to the 2017 season for NASA Mid-Atlantic!
This Dominion event is a great way to get warmed up for the season! It will be a track time only event on Saturday/Sunday with no racing or Time Trials.
In addition to Saturday/Sunday track time, we will offer a Friday evening Instructor Clinic for those qualified advanced students or instructors with other clubs to become NASA certified. This clinic will be classroom sessions only and will provide no track time. There must be sufficient enrollment for the clinic to be held. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to see if you qualify or need more information. If you pass the clinic, you can instruct over the weekend and receive track time for free.
-Instructor Clinic (no track time)
- All levels of HPDE
- Hyperdrive session on Saturday
- Test and Tune sessions for those with race licenses. No sessions will be timed. Annual inspections will be done.
OG Racing is continuing as a 2017 sponsor for NASA Mid-Atlantic! Thanks to their help, we are able to offer the below prices until two weeks prior to the event. Prices will go up to their regular amount on February 10 at midnight for all Saturday/Sunday activities.
ALL DRIVERS PLEASE READ ALL OF THE IMPORTANT NOTES BELOW BEFORE REGISTERING! Schedule and driver list will be posted by 7 days prior to the event. See cancellation policy here: http://www.nasaracing.net/contact-us/cancellation-policy/
Since this event does not have racing or Time Trials, the 4 track sessions daily will be longer. HPDE 1, 2, and 3 will have the normal classroom sessions.
This event will not feature a party on Saturday evening since there is no trophy presentation.
If you have any questions about which group is best for you or any questions about the event, please email email@example.com.
If the weather does not cooperate for this late winter event (snow or extreme cold), it will be cancelled and a full credit will be applied to any 2017 NASA MA event except Hyperfest.
HPDE: HPDE 1 and HPDE 2 students will have an instructor (with the exception of HPDE 2 solo students who will be non-instructed). There will be an HPDE 3 and an HPDE 4 group. HPDE 4 is primarily for instructors but there are limited slots open for those with several events in HPDE 3.
Racers: At this event, you can get your annual inspection and plenty of open track testing time. Renew your license early so you have it in hand!
Hyperdrive: The OG Racing Hyperdrive will occur on Saturday. It is one track session plus classroom for $50. Drivers are assigned an instructor. This is intended for those new to the sport. You do not have to be a member to participate. When you get to the membership screen, the system will allow for you to click continue without purchasing a membership.
Event Confirmations: Once you register, you will immediately receive a purchase confirmation receipt by e-mail which also indicates you have been accepted into the event. If you do not get this receipt, you are not registered. 7 days before the event, you will receive further instructions by email for the event, and these instructions will also be posted at www.nasaracing.net under the event. The Driver list and schedule will be posted by 7-10 days prior to the event.
All drivers are responsible for any track damage that is the result of their actions on or off the track and will be financially responsible for repair/replacement of damaged track property.
