PREREQUISITE- HPDE 4 Level Experience (show proof)
NASA and BMWCCA have partnered to present this content which is proven to produce competent racing drivers.
This school is for experienced drivers with prior
experience in HPDE4 or Time Trial who wish to obtain their NASA "Racing
License". The school will provide a
general overview of the NASA CCRs applicable to racing with NASA as well as
multiple on track racing exercises that will likely be encountered
during a race group. Students will be evaluated throughout the duration
of the course to determine suitability for a Provisional License
including a formal written test at the end.
This program is highly structured, and conducted in a non-contact environment. Limited to 30
participants, BMW CCA Club Racing and NASA Competition License School features
an experienced team of both NASA Competition instructors and BMW CCA Club Racing drivers.
The entry fee of $525.00 includes a total of eight
classroom and on-track sessions. You will experience open corner passing, three-wide exercises, practice race starts, and participate in a simulated race experience along with intensive classroom sessions. All
this under the watchful eye of your on-track racing instructors. You may use a car that complies with NASA HPDE Tech requirements. You do not need a car with a cage that passes Race Tech.
This event is intended to assist experienced drivers gain the additional training to prepare themselves for wheel to wheel racing. Graduates of the program will be qualified to apply for their NASA Competition License AND a BMW CCA Club Racing license. Typically, both of these licenses are recognized by many racing sanctioning
bodies.
