REGISTRATION OPTIONS:

HPDE1 (Beginner) - Classroom + 1x1 instructor passing only on main straights (instructor assigned to each student)


HPDE2 (Novice) - Similar to HPDE1 but (no instructor required) 

HPDE3 (Intermediate) - Passing limited 

HPDE4 (Advanced) - Open passing with courtesy 

Time Attack (Sunday only) @ $25 - This will provide competitors (in HPDE3 or above) with a transponder rental and a near open track for 2 hot laps. Only the fastest lap counts. NOTE: Must be combined with HPDE3, HPDE4, TT or Race Group. 

Time Attack (Sunday only) @ $20 - Same as above but this is for entrants who do not need a transponder to run in the TA. (For HPDE3 drivers and above)  

Time Trial - Drivers compete for fastest lap time. Split "Big Bore" and "Small Bore" groups with at least 30 pre-registrations (4 days prior to event) . NOTE: This group requires a NASA Time Trial or Competition license to compete in. 

SupersizeTT
 - For Race Group drivers looking to also compete in Time Trial. 
NOTE: This option is ONLY good with a "2 day" paid "RACE" pre-registration. 


SupersizeHPDE - For Race Group or TT drivers looking for an additional seat time. NOTE: This option is ONLY good with a "2 day" paid "RACE" or "TIME TRIAL" pre-registration. 


Drift - NASA membership is not required for this guest group option.  Drift drivers will get three 15 min (continuous) on track sessions.  This is a Sun only option and the drift group also does NOT need to be at the 7:30AM morning meeting if they choose.  There will be a Drift specific drivers meeting at 10:30AM with the first session starting shortly after that.  Drifters are expected to have their car through tech inspection prior to the 10:30AM drivers meeting.  It is recommended to show up 30-60 mins prior to the drivers meeting to allow enough time to unload and tech prior to 10:30AM and not miss their 1st session.


Transponder Rental - Only available for Time Trial and Race Group. HPDE groups do not get timed! There are no refunds if you rent a transponder in HPDE. 


Tech Inspection - This option is ONLY for RACE group participants only that require an ONSITE annual tech inspection. Annual race inspections are available for free at any of the authorized shops if scheduled ahead of time. If your schedule does not allow for this, we can accommodate a limited number of onsite inspections if registered ahead of time for planning purposes.  $20 if car has previous year logbook and tech sticker  $40 if car does not have previous NASA logbook or lost logbook.


VENDOR - No cost to register, we simply have this option so we can preplan out the paddock and take care of any needed logistics ahead of time. We can also help communicate your services at the event in our email blasts to our members if you take the time to pre-register. Thx!


INSTRUCTOR - Unless you are a NASA Instructor with a License that says that, do NOT select any of these options.  This option is not for you to indicate you want an instructor, this option is to let us know how many instructors we have available.

REGISTRATION CLOSES: THURSDAY 5/6/21 @ 8PM

Any registrations after 8pm on 5/6/21 will be charged a $50 late fee.

Enter at Gate 1 (we paddock in the large lot on the left when you enter "Gate 1", NOT in the tracks infield)

Paddock / Gate Times:
Early setup is available on Friday starting after 1PM if you registered for the "Priority Check-In" option.  Additionally, if you will be leaving cars/trailers, etc. we ask that you select this option as well to help pay for the overnight security guard.  Once the gates open at 1PM on Friday, they may be closed at night but there will be overnight security to let folks in and out as needed (but won't remain open once it is dark).  They will officially open with a person manning the gate starting at 6AM both days.
NOTE: If you will be camping overnight on Fri and/or Sat, please select the "Camping Option" (to help pay for the required overnight security guard).

“What time do I need to show up?”
This is the #1 question we are asked, especially by the folks new to NASA. See the event schedule (below or attached) for exact times but we recommend 45-60 mins prior to the drivers meeting (@ 7:30AM) to allow enough time to find a spot, check in with Driver Info (if you’re HPDE1) and get your car through tech and any other last min items before the drivers meeting.

Tech Inspection
All HPDE cars require an onsite tech inspection prior to being allowed on track (1 tech inspection is good for both days). HPDE participants should print and fill out the "HPDE Tech" Form prior to arriving to tech. Race group & Time Trial competitors will use the “Annual Race Car” Tech forms if they haven’t already done their 2021 annual inspection. Forms can be found @ https://www.nasaproracing.com/forms
NOTE: Race group is encouraged to get their renewals done at one of the offsite shops. We can do "renewals" onsite for a fee of $20 (via pre-reg - or cash onsite). Race cars without a logbook are highly encouraged to get their first tech inspection done offsite at a shop. Primarily we ask this is done so that there is an opportunity to fix anything that requires a change. If a safety item is identified onsite, you may not be able to race or even run in TT/HPDE, unless you can also fix it onsite.

Driver Information
Will be located near Grid in the "Admin" area as designated on the Paddock Map (which will be emailed out to all registered participants on Thur night). HPDE1 will need to “check in” with registration. All other groups will receive their credentials from their respective Group Leader directly after the Drivers Meeting.

Rental Helmets
We have a limited number of rental helmets @ $10 available in most sizes and includes a headsock (unless you have your own). They will be sanitized between use/events. Please let us know in advance if you need one to guarantee availability.

Drivers Meetings / Downloads
The drivers meeting per the schedule is mandatory for ALL drivers, instructors, officials, or anyone that will participate any way shape or form during the weekend. All other meetings times and locations will be announced by your respective Group Leader directly after the drivers meeting.

Passengers
Looking to take a passenger along for a ride on track? No problem but there's a few more steps required:
1. Passengers need to be 18 (with photo ID proof of age)
2. Passengers are only allowed in HPDE3, HPDE4 or Time Trial
3. Passengers are required to sign the "Passenger Waiver" (in addition to the general "Gate Waiver")
4. Pay the $10 fee

Transponder Rentals
Need to be checked out at registration
Need to be returned to registration within 30 mins of your final session to avoid a late fee.
Time Attack competitors: If you signed up for TA with a transponder rental you can now get it as early in the morning as you wish and it will include all session times (in HPDE4).

Timing and Scoring
Results will be posted on the sign easels at Driver Info. Please report errors to "Driver Info" ASAP so they can get properly corrected. If you own your own transponder, please ensure your membership profile is configured with your TX # (NOTE: T&S downloads that # prior to the event to ease/automate results). Race & TT Classing
All ST & TT competitors (in all NASA regions) classing sheets are publicly posted on the NASA Super Touring website at https://supertouring.nasaseries.com/forms-rules/.

Sanitizing Station
We will have a small table setup near Driver Info with soap, water and hand sanitizer. We ask that all participants sanitize before approaching driver info and handling any public items (i.e. self serve forms, pens, water, etc.).

Water
Cold water is back via the self serve cash box @ $1 each. We do require that you sanitize first before touching anything tough!

Food
Rawhide will be providing food service both days serving breakfast burritos in the morning and typical BBQ lunch items in the afternoon.
NOTE: Admin lunches will be covered via the notepad indicating your name and admin roll.

Fuel
Chevron is about 1/2 mile away just outside the facility gates and has all standard grades of fuel including diesel. Love's is on the other side of the freeway ~1 mile away and also has 100 unleaded and 110 leaded race fuels.

Safety Equipment: We Don't Lift (WDL)
Safety Solutions will be onsite to provide our registrants with access to high quality driver safety products as well as accessories for your racecar! Helmets, gloves and shoes are available for fitting. HANS devices available for HPDE Rental (with CC on file). Tire Service
NASA Arizona will have tire service available for the duration of the event. If you need service, simply see registration first to tell them what you need and make payment there.

$5 – tire disposal <-- $0 if you take your old tires with you to self dispose

NOTE: Air is free and is self serve via the air-chuck located near the front of the NASA AZ gooseneck trailer.
